The City Government of Davao thru the Public Safety and Security Command Center spearheaded last Friday, February 28, 2020 a Send – Off Ceremony for the security forces that would ensure Dabawenyos a safe, orderly, and peaceful Araw ng Dabaw was held at Davao City Police Office Parade Grounds, San Pedro St., Davao City.
A total of 2,959 security safety and emergency preparedness responds personnel (EPR) will make up the security force that would be deployed to all places of events to secure the Araw ng Dabaw festivities.
PLTCOL Mario V. Galendez, Operations and Coordination Officer of PSSCC, reiterated the instructions of Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte through the Head of PSSCC, for the security forces to remain vigilant and alert despite the cancellation of several events brought about by Corona Virus 2019 (COVID19) outbreak in Southeast Asia, for the safety and security of all.
